Our Why for 2025

We couldn’t be more excited to announce that The Queso Cup will be supporting 2 great organizations and causes this year:

 

www.wheelchairsforwarriors.org – Wheelchairs for Warriors - Wheelchairs for Warriors provides custom wheelchairs to injured veterans and first responders that are engineered to each recipient's individual needs and capabilities, allowing for mobility and independence at the highest level possible.  Many thanks to Jordan Wheeler for putting this group forward!

https://bearnecessities.org/ Bear Necessities Pediatric Cancer Foundation – Emma’s Crew is at it again!  We are proudly choosing to support this great cause to honor Emma Caplan.    Their mission, as taken from their website – Our mission is to eliminate pediatric cancer while providing hope and support to those who are touched by it. Our vision is a world without pediatric cancer.  A quick update on Emma – Emma remains home, thriving, and happily in remission.  She has started on maintenance chemo, but has had her feeding tube removed and is enjoying being a kid in the summertime! 

 

As always, there are no requirements to donate, it’s simply if you feel led to support the causes.  We’ll announce more about this as the dates get closer.  We’ll aggregate and send a letter with full receipts for individuals as we do each year.
